Hey just bought a 75 gallon tank setup at big als... just wanted to let everyone know lol. Im planning on setting it up tonight! Oh i have a few questions actually...... Im using play sand, the guy at big als told me i should put a sponge around my intake pipe to stop sand from getting sucked in, - on another note whats the best way of cleaning this sand before using it????. Also i have a 40 g tank too right now which is up n running i was thinking of putting like 20 % of its water in my new tank along with soaking my new filter in my old tank just to establish some bacteria, good idea????
