swim bladder

would a fish swimming up to the top of the tank then diving to the bottom have anything wrong with it? or is it just bored?



ps: after i left for the weekend friday a counselors kid dumped enough food to completely cover the bottom of the 10gal and make the water so murky you couldnt see the fish - i've done 2 water changes with major vacuumage since then... so maybe that has something to do with their activities lately?

sounds like the fish is pacing the tank, which usually means they are feeling cramped, space wise.... maybe someone else wil have another idea though!
