Switching fish around

I think I want to switch the fish in my 75 for the ones in my 125.

The 125 has 2 severums and 2 angels. I want to add a school of fish still but don't know which ones yet.

The 75 has lake malawi cichlids.

I am pretty sure the 75 is big enough for the fish, but want to make sure before I move them and change all the decor. I have black sand in the 75 and am thinking I would leave it in and put white sand in the 125 with the malawi.

Any thoughts?

Is there any specific reason for the switch? Are you planning on upping the malawis numbers?
