That's what I was thinking. I'll probably take some of the gravel and place it in the sump as well. I'm gonna switch my gravel to Eco-Complete planted as I have changed ideas on what to do with the tank. So I will take the tank down, remove gravel and undergravel filter, drill for the overflow, put some gravel in the sump, add the eco-complete, and run the sump and HOB for 3-4 weeks.Why not just hook up your sump and run the other filters for about a month or so then take one off at time. that should seed your sump and reduce any cycle that you were worried about. I did that with my 90 and I had no cycle what so ever.
