Switching from Reef Crystal

By those test it isn't bad. Actually, there is very little difference between most salts, just a couple having more CA/MG than others (RC is low on CA compared to Red Sea Pro) but the rest of the parameters are all pretty close for the most part.

Whew, as I just got a good deal on 2 5 gallon buckets of it. I've got a calcium reactor and can add MG as needed. I am thinking about getting a phosphate reactor and use it as needed. Any reactor suggestions?

For a phosphate reactor, check out bulkreefsupply.com -- their reactors are made from parts commonly associated with RO/DI units. This makes their reactor very easy to use and much easier to fix than many of the stereotypical phosphate reactors if something should happen to go wrong with it (leak, cracked plastic, etc.).

I'm looking but don't quite understand how I would hook one up. About the only space I have is in the sump.

Does this help? Current pic of my 15G sump.

First Chamber:
Overflow-Filter Sock, Phosban reactor with pump - output goes over top of baffle to chamber 2, chiller pump, heater, and HOB Remora with original stock majijet. My ATO fill tube is pinched between the skimmer in the back as well and mixes the ATO with the skimmer output when it activates.

Second Chamber:
Temp and PH Probe
10lbs live rock rubble, 5lbs of live sand from my original setup (never removed it, wouldn't recommend sand now in my setup), cheato, and mini fuge light.

Third Chamber:
Return line from Chiller, 2 bags of chemi-pure on top of return line (since chiller return water didn't get filtered by refugium I thought I should stack 2 bags of chemi-pure on it), ATO float sensor, and eheim 1262 return pump.

Thanks Ace, that gives me some idea for my 20 long I'll be converting to a sump. I need to figure an ATO for it as well. What phosphate reactor is that and how much media did you add and how often?
