Switching to Eco Complete. Good Decision?

Hmm, thanks for your input carla! But my petco had 3 bags of this, and I asked the manager if she had more of it in the back somewhere, but she said no. So i got all three bags. Will this be enough?
As for co2, those were my feelings as well.

How's the algae situation in your tank?

And I have to agree that you really need CO2 supplementation with so much lighting. Either add CO2 or remove some bulbs from your fixture.

Also, don't buy any CO2 system from a fishstore. You can probably get the same thing online for half the price at Drsfosterandsmith or bigal's or thatpetplace.

I do not like to use just ECO (too light in weight). I only used 5 bags in my 120 (it is a 120 tall, so smaller footprint). I coverd the ECO with black sand.
