I have Swords in two of my tanks and they look the same, i.e. a lot of the leaves are holy and dying away, tending to be the larger leaves
they are fairly new to the tanks - 8 to 12 weeks old
is this just a settling in period?
or are they 'eating themselves' to regenerate new leaves?
i'm using ei dosing regimes with pressurised co2 on one tanks and excel on the other.

Swords need lots of light, how much light do you have?? Also swords are pigs, they need LOTS of root food (plant tabs, ect). Unlike stem plants (hygro, ect) they do not get much food from water.
PS--I would prune the un-healthy leaves and leave as many good leaves as possible.

now, just cut the away the bad leaves, cause they cant heal, and trim away some bad roots which will promote new leaves and use root tabs that i have iron in it, but dont over feed or you'll algae and your water might be yellow.
they need 12 hours of light
oh and what kind of fish do you have? how many wattage does the light have?
