Another good place to check out is the new Asia section at Taronga Zoo. They have outdoor aquariums with the tiger displays and a koi pond/bird aviary.
I was so amazed I forgot to take photos! LOL.

Oh really! I was there last year but I can't remember them. I remember the Asian section was closed when I was there cos they were still trying to bring in the elephants. Another excuse to go the Taronga Zoo again. Thanks!

I love that place mustve been there a hundred times.

The Koi at taronga are fantastic and absolutely massive. They've also got some type of orangy tetra in one enclosure and a mass of yellow labs in another and are setting up an aquarium section set to open in 2008

I hope they have more tropical and freshwater displays. I prefer them over marine.
