Hey, I was wondering if any one knew anything about synodontis angelicus. I saw a little fella at the store today, and it looks like the pictures I found on these, but the one at the store had like spurs or spikes all the way down both sides..?? They had him labeled as snowflake synodontis I believe.

When you say it had spurs or spikes down the sides, apart from the gill covers, synos are smooth-skinned. Were there any other catfish in the tank? Spurs or spikes suggest an armoured cat like a raphael cat or Adonis plec.

Thanks for the feedback guys, definitely a spotted raphael cat. They're pretty cool looking, although the ones at the store hid a lot, and I've read you'll rarely see them. Are these guys overly aggressive like synos? I just got rid of a feather fin syno because he was nasty.
