My LFS has 4 Synodontis granulosus..

I want to get one but online info says Ph 7.8 to 8.5...

They are keeping them at pH 7 and they say I am ok to do this also????

Will he be happy in my tank (Ph 7)?

Thanks

they will be absolutely fine...its not about the exact pH value, its whether it stays constant or not. It will be much less stressful on the fish accmlimating them to a tank with your pH than trying to acclimate it to a tank with a much higher pH

Yup. Swings in parameters while trying to adjust are more harmful to fish and more likely to cause problems for the fish than have a constant, slightly off parameter. Make sure to drip acclimate your fish just the same.

Thanks:)
