I have had a Synodontis Eupterus for around 7 months now. I have a castle in my tank that he has always claimed as his own. I pretty much have always just seen him every few days when he ventures out. Now about 3 months ago when i was moving my tank i picked up the castle and found him to be what i thought was very ill or very beaten up. His fins were practically gone and the front half of his body was white! Silver dollars, a gold gourami and a blue gourami had been in there with him but i never saw them even anywhere near him. Since then i have removed the larger semiaggressive fish and I have been down to 1 angel, 2 dwarf gouramis, and 3 black phantom tetras for the past couple of months. Now the real problem is the fact that he hasn't seemed to have got much better??? Does anyone know what this mysterious illness could be or really any idea as to what happened? I also treated the tank with Melafix for a short while after the initial hurt period. Let me know if you have any question! Thanks so much!
