Just received my 36" T5 HO light fixture that has 2x 6700K 78W tubes. I got them from topdogsellers on eBay. The auctions title said: 36" T5 HO Aquarium Light Plant Freshwater 78W 2x 6700K

But the tubes have T5 tube 39W printed on the ends. Should the bulbs have T5 HO on them?

I would like to know if the fixture is a T5 HO or just a T5.

Thank you for any help with this.

They are HO T5 lamps. 36" long lamps are 39 watt in HO T5. If they were NO T5 they would be 21 watt lamps.

Thank you, Narwhal72, for that information. Did not know about the watts being different. Good way to tell the difference.

weedcalim, hope you had a good laugh.
