Take a peek at my jungle!!

The craziest ones are Ludwigia Repens and Bacopa. Soon after I stopped diffusing CO2 and started reacting instead, everything really took off! Even the normally mild mannered Moneywort showed tremendous gains.

What is reacting?

What is reacting?

There are many ways to 'react' CO2 into the water. The particular setup I use is the Red Sea 500 reactor. It's like a small powerhead that you attach the CO2 line to the top and it creates a vortex in the chamber which basically disolves the gas. This is just a more efficient way than diffusing.

There are how to's for DIY reactors in the DIY section and on Rex Grigg's site.

I guess it's a personal choice in how you get the CO2 in the water, I just found I keep steadier CO2 levels by reacting.

Nice tank. First pic took me by surprise also.
