take my glow lights, please

my glow light tetra and rasbora don't interest me much, anymore. they are sort of just annoyances for the fish that really interest me, my angel and rams. i realize many of you will think me a horrible fish keeper because i don't want ot preserve the lives of my fish. but, for those of you who understand:

my LPSs are not interested in taking my fish. so, are there any fish with a real personality that will eat my glow lights and rasbora (i don't want to overcrowd my tank, but i want to add new, interesting fish) and get along with my angel and rams?

Maybe you have a friend thats intrested in the hobby?
Maybe you can get freinds or family intrested in the hobby and get them to take them off your hands?

thats what I did, I got my friend into fish keeping, sold hime a tank and just gave him the fish I didnt want anymore

If, in the slim chance, you happen to be in the central Jersey area, I know someone who would gladly take your tetras and rasboras.

If you post where you live, someone with take them. Other than that get a couple more angelfish and wait a few months. When they mature and decide to pair off, they very likely will take care of any overstocking you might have including the odd man out angelfish.

I read the post about what newbies shuld think about before getting fish and how they can live for years etc and people dont take into account the size they get to. well i dont see much difference here between saying you will keep a fish until you get bored or until it outgrows your tank. especially if your deliberatly going to put a bigger fish in to eat them! thats just really mean. and yeah you can say 'well it would happen in the wild etc' but i dont think it should be encouraged in a place like this when it seems there are people that feel strongly enough to spend their time writing posts like the first one appearing on the forum.

needle nose gar will eat neons pretty quick, but I think they are boring fish too

if you don't like the glowlights why not give them to a member on the forum but what dither fish are you going to put in there with your angels I keep reading angels really need a dither fish in the tank else they hide.

This is just a point in question about impulse buying. Remember that its a commitment just like caring for a cat or dog. You can't keep 'em a week and say, hey! your boring, I think I'll let that rottweiler over there eat you. :hang: You have to find them another tank I'd say.
Its a question of responsibility, compassion for the fish you once enjoyed, and good fishkeeping ethics.
