I have a Scopas (Brown) Tang in my tank. He is very healthy and eats like a horse. He has white patches down the line on his back on both sides. I have read that this may be caused by nutrition problems. He eats Mysis and Flake food. I have tried to feed him Lettuce and plant material but I cannot get him to eat it. I have heard this called lateral line disease but I have found conflicting information on what it is and what causes it. Other than the way he looks, he acts fine. any suggestions on what to do would be appreciated.
