Gutted! Never heard of a tank doing that before. How old was it?
My only guess is that the bleach must've somehow effected the seal.
It does look easy to fix if you don't have enough cash for another tank though. But don't listen to me. I've never had to fix a tank before... touch wood!

But thank god you hadn't finished stocking it!

don't expect it to dry so fast. last month, by accident, i empty out half of my 125 gal tank onto my carpet, and it took 2 weeks to dry out itself....

i got fans on it it has been going for about 3 hours and it is maybe 50% dry hopefully i can get it dry before it ruins my floor and stinks up my basement

I HATE to heare these stories, they really frighten me!! Sorry to hear though :sad , that must be a pain. I want to get a 180g in the next year or so, I figure if that were to break, I could just turn the house into a pool, I've always wanted one

Sorry to hear that.
I know how it feels.
We recently had a 90 Gallon break full of fish and plants and driftwood and rocks.
Allllll over our new laminate flooring.
