Hey all.
I'm looking at my tank today and thinking, if this thing (55G) were to bust, it'd be something of a major mess.
I've read about people's glue going bad, etc etc, and I went over to mine and noticed that on one edge, the glue at the top is peeling ever so slightly (only at the very top where the top frame is). Now, the tank itself looks great with no signs of any trouble whatsoever. But, the apartment I live in has a slight tilt to it it seems, as the right side of the tank is a little less than .5" higher in water level than the far left side. It's a negligible unevenness for a long tank ... but I know that the glue can become dry, etc.
What are your thoughts on tank explosion worries?
