sometimes the answers come to us as soon as we say help. This should do just fine till you get the rest of the eco. See floating does have some benefit. great news on the flowering.

i feel alot better now that i got the vals weighted, they looked so bad floating
im started to think they will be fine too

Your plants are fine floating for a few days. Most of those I have actually had float while I figured out my tank 'scape. I didn't commit very easily

You might notice some losing leaves...but they should bouce right back once planted.

a few leaves are getting gushy
and i had trouble getting down all the roots to the dwarf sags, is it ok if a few of the roots are sticking out of the substrate?

updated pics, its been a few days since setup. tank cleared nicely. a few of the dwarf sags are melting a bit but everything else seems to be ok.
the tiger lotus bulb has sprouted yay
