tank build has begun

very nice!!

for future plants, you might consider taking off the plant weights and spongy stuff and just let them float horizontally at the water surface. i usually do that with all my new plants for at least a few days until i decide where they're getting shoved into the gravel, lol. in my case, the floating plants shoot out little roots during their float time and it seems to help with them 'grabbing hold' of the substrate faster when i do plant them.

Great looking tank! Nice work!

Just so your aware that tiger lotus is gonna get huge!! Mine outgrew the 75g it was in in a month. Tank looks good.

yeah unfortunetly i found that out too late. i allready placed my order when i started reading about how big they get
i researched a bit before but i must have missed the size part lol
is there a way to keep in compact?

pinch off the larger leaves when they are too big. May get it to resort to small leaves and it also keeps it from sending out stems to the surface.

this is all learn as you go, thats the fun part. If you knew it all and it was perfect from the start what would you have to look forward to.

have fun
