Tank Cleaning BIZ help

Yeah, it's complicated...for all of the reasons mentioned above. Any time you start going into someone's home and performing a regular service for them, it becomes more complicated than mowing their lawn or washing their car.

I would maybe offer pet sitting services instead as a way to make some part time money. Or if you are looking for more serious income, why don't you try getting a job at an LFS or pet store?

I third that. If a fish dies the next day, or they notice a crack in the tank, etc.etc. They will put all the blame on you.
Thats why I am the only one that is allowed to clean my tanks. If something happens it will be my fault.
Good Luck.
Is not as easy as it looks. Just an example. My wife's grandma has a 29 gl that she doesn't take good care of it. I went one day and did a partial water change; next day she called me to tell me that some of the fishes died :uhoh:. She just called me to let me know what happend (yeah right). Oh well long story short, that was the last time I wet my hands in somebody else's fish tank. Good thing she didn't sue me for the "loses" :hypnotized:

I may but I want to work at local automative places idk if they are looking for interns right now but I wouldn't do it tell next year so that's why Im looking for another way of getting money other than soccer reffing which is very lucrative 30bucks a hour practically but I want something in the week time also......And closest good LFS is like 45mins away maybe work at Petco or something....

Don't forget lots of big and small towels. You don't want to be dripping fish tank water on someone else's hardwood floors or carpet. I did aquarium maintenance professionally for 10 years. It's a lot of work for little reward. I would also suggest a short fiberglass ladder. You need the height for working on taller tanks and in the back of wider tanks.
