More than likely not though.
I have a 56 gallon show aquarium (It is very tall and very deep front to back yet only 32" long) I set it up last week, and it remained perfectly crystal clear until... I turned on the heater. Then it became all cloudy, and right away as well. (Within hours)
I did a massive water change (90%) and all was well again, until the heater comes on.
My water parameters are checked with the Mardel 5 in 1 strip (I know not the best, but is what I have) All are well within any dangerous margins.
The aquarium has no fish in it yet. I am planning on putting in a small group of Zebra's as my first step in cycling.
I use for filtration two (2) Marineland BioWheel filters (The 200 model) and airate with a 4" stone. I have also pre-seeded the aquarium with bacteria in a bottle starter just tonight.
Is this just a normal bloom that when the water was heated triggered it? Or could there be anything else I need to do, look at.
Thanks.
