I just read the all 8 pages of the Cycle thread. I got bits and pieces from there, but could someone please point me to some good information about cycling a tank?
How about an outline? Something like, add amonia until it's 5 ppm. Wait until it's ?? ppm. Add more until it's 5 ppm. Do a 30% water change. Add more amonia until it's 5 ppm. And so on, and so on.
Also, how about some good numbers to follow. Nitrates should stay below 20 ppm?
