Tank didn't instant cycle

If you've only done one today, I'd do another one. I'd also add the salt anyhow, but that's me. I added salt the minute the nitrites started to kick in.

I work 12 hour shifts starting at 6 AM. I only have done one water change a day and its been sitting at .25 except when i skipped the day and it went to .5.

I did another test tonight and the AM is still 0 and the NI are .25 the NA is still 5 .

I'm going to skip todays water change and see if the nitrites go up again.

Well another test and the AM stayed at 0 but the NI rose to .5 again. Doing another water change as I type this. I don't think i'll skip a day anymore, doesn't seem to help the situation.

Another test another water change, though I think its starting to stabilize.

Am 0
NI under .25 a real light purple

Finally yesterday the 55 gallon tank read

Am 0 NI 0

Took longer than I thought it might. I added Prime to help detoxify the nitrites poisioning ability. I also added Stress Zyme, but I doubt that was what helped.

I'll check again tonight as I didn't do a water change last night and see if the NI remained at 0.
