I'm working on an idea to utilize glass from tanks I already have. This stemmed from a 90 gallon with a broken side. I've since acquired a few pieces of glass from another tank purchase. Here are the initial design pictures.

I know what you mean. My project is on hold till I finish painting the room then to get the lights for the stand and finish the doors to the stand and hardware for them. Little details that seem small but are the ones that take more time and money.

I'm building 4 tanks; 2 24" and 2 19" that are 4'x4' footprint.

The concept is to make construction as simple and inexpensive as possible.

2x3 studs and 3/4" plywood are used throughout the builds.

Regular 100% silicone will be used on the windows.

3" and 2" deck screws

Each of the current tanks has 8 3" deck screws in the 2x3 frames and 6 2" deck screws holding the plywood to the frames.

I'll be adding Liquid Nails in between every joint after everything is test fit.
