:dance:Just wanted to thank everyone for their advice, I was so ready to give up! Water perameters have been for almost a week now!

Ammonia 0 ppm
Nitrite 0ppm
Nitrate 10ppm

Can I start stocking? I have 4 feeder goldfish now thinking of adding (slowly of course)

Giant Dianos
Silver dollars
Corycats
and maybe some tiger barbs?

Any suggestions on adding some color to the tank? Oh ya, forgot to add tank size 90 gallon bow front!

Yep you can begin your stock list. Obviously slowly as not to strain the beneficial bacteria and trigger a mini cycle. The one thing that I have learned about tiger barbs is that there aggression and fin nipping are much more subdued in schools of six or more. Kinda hard to add these guys one at a time or they will reak havoc on everything else in the tank attempting to establish a pecking order. Good luck and happy fish keeping.

If you add the goldfish to the tank I would say you are at your limit. Goldfish are poop machines and also require cold water so they are not compatible with the other fish you have listed. Also, I believe the silver dollars get too big for your tank and they also need to be in a school.

The others sound like a good fit. Just make sure you keep the tiger barbs in a larger group because they will get nippy and the cories should be kept in a larger school too.

Yes you can begin stocking, but that tank is only enough to keep 3 Goldfish for their whole life anyways. As Mg said, either coldwater or tropical.

Perhaps you can add, school of cardinal tetras for adding color. And I agree with alot of people about goldfish,as they are not compatible to the tropical environment.
Give it back to your LFS or sell it.
Do not release it to the wild, which is the reason why many fish are banned, because of careless owners.
Anyways, congrats :)

The reason I have gold fish is due to some bad advice about cycling from my local fish store........ they seem to be doing well with the others the tank temp is 75 degrees. Should I capture them and take them back? I've kinda grown attached to them:cry:

When you say compatible to the others what others are there in there ?

Its just not great to keep Goldies in warm water is all...and they do take up a load of the bioload capacity...I'd try and rehome to a coldwater tank with a good owner.
