So it is a 75 gallon tank. The bottom and top black frames are cracked, the rest look fine, IE, the glass and sealant is fine.
I was supposed to buy the tank today for $65. But should I back out? Is there a way to fix the frame w/o getting a new one? Is the frame really that important?
Thanks!

Short answer: Yes, back out immediately. That's way too much money for a tank in that condition. I just bought a brand NEW 75 for under $100

Yea, we are holding off until I can find a place that sells a frame for the tanks and if it's cheap enough. The glass is 1/2 inch thick. Anyone know where I can find frames for 75g tanks with 1/2inch glass??

you might want to measure that...doesn't look like 1/2" glass in those pics....try

I don't think it's worth it either... all the time you will spend on looking for a frame, buying it, fixing your tank, you could just get a newer used one that is just fine.

I would offer much less. But then I've been running a 75g for about 1 year 3 months with cracks at all 4 corners top and bottom (so 8 total) and the bottom brace cracked along its length (front to back not cracked in half). So far, I've had no problems, but I'm also not saying that it's a good idea.

No luck. No where in VA nor in Maryland is there a 75 for sale, unless they are asking $200+. Which is ridiculous and I refuse to pay so much.
