I have had to move my two african dwarf frogs into their own (ten gallon) tank and am wondering what other people have mixed with their dwarf frogs in small communties, if anything..

What have you guys done with your dwarf frogs?

dont add them with any fish....the fish will eat all the food before the frogs will get it. have the water low and make sure they eat or else they will end up like my 4 frogs did (belly up) :(

Haven't tried it, but I was thinking along the lines of otocinclus, and maybe a school of black neons, or some freshwater shrimp...

Maybe cories? Feed the cories some sinking pellets and feed the ADFs frog/tadpole sinking bits...

Some fish make it really hard to feed ADFs, so try and choose tankmates that won't steal your frogs' food, or bully them.

Maybe an enormous snail? I haven't tried any of these, so be careful... what works in theory may not work out in reality. It may be best to get the frogs their own 5g, plant it up, and maybe toss some shrimp in there for variety.

I see lots of folks mix them with peaceful species. I believe I've seen some folks mix them with bettas in 10 gallon tanks. As hurdledude1298 said, they can be harder to feed, but by simply using tweezers or a turkey baster, you can make sure they get their food without lowering water levels or worrying that they'll starve.

PS: Oh, and may I recommend going to the articles forum, it's near the top of the main forum index. There is a great article by a memebr here named Leopardess with pictures that delves into just about every aspect of keeping ADFs.
