Tank Make Over

My wife wants everything country, white and blue. So I was forced to paint my tank stand and canopy.
4 coats of white later, turned out ok.

Oh, and I picked up some Nerite snails and this little Goldhead Comp today at the LFS

I think it looks great, the white on white almost gives it a 'built in' type feel. Good job!

I'm supposed to paint the wall light tan now. its the only wall in the house that's still white.
That should stop me from tripping over it

Along with the exterior paint, I dressed up the bare side of my tank with another cedar stump. I was happy to find one that didn't come up out of the water.

when i first saw the black stand and canopy and read 'paint' and 'white' i thought it wouldn't look as good as the black, but wow! it really pops and at the same time, blends in with the wall! i say keep that wall white, it looks good!
