Tank mate for Betta

Ok i know it`s been asked a million times ,but what can I put in 10 gal. with my male betta?

Cories, kuhli loaches, otos, peaceful tetras. Avoid fin nippers, gouramies, paradise fish, guppies. Fish with long fins tend to be nipped as well.

A while ago I used to have a betta with some platies and corys without any problems. Corys are great fish.

I had good success with 3 cories and 5 white cloud minnows in a 10 gallon with a betta. Keep the water temp in the lower 70'sF for white clouds.

Of course anything you add will probably cuase the betta to initially go a little crazy. Just keep your eye on him and make sure he doesn't do much more than chase and flair.

Thanks alot all of you.I was told he would fight anything I put in thete by a NSLFS.Guess i`ll check out the white clouds.

Bettas don't usually fight with other fish unless they are other male bettas.

I was more worried about my Betta being bit.

Oscars make really bad tank mates..
Any small schooling fish should be fine in this tank, as long as they are not fin nippers.
