Tank mates dissapearing!!! Blood Parrots May Have Eaten Them

Ive got 2 bp's in a 55 with some guppies bala's fire eel rope fish brown knife and odessa fire barbs yellow labs since i added the labs my parrots are as skitish as can be even though the are 6 times the size and i.ve never had any real disappearing problems the parrots are scared of thier own shadow
Well I stopped by PetLand today, I had heard they had undyed Jellybeans, wow what a waste of time. They were dyed, and it was so sad, I really despise the dyeing of fish. We should enjoy them naturally, even mutts like Parrots and jellybeans shouldnt be stripped painted or dyed. I found a nice website that has a petition to sign against dyeing fish. Stop by if you like. And please please do NOT shop at Petland in Columbus, GA or any other city, they deserve to not be in business. Thanks

Dyed fish are being sold in fish stores to customers who are unaware of how unatural and cruel it is.
Fish are dyed by either dipping or injecting with the dyes which stresses the fish causing health problems for the fish or even death.
Fish are stripped of their protrective coatings when they are dipped making them vulnerable to diseases.
This practice is cruel and barbaric and needs to be stopped.
The stores will keep stocking dyed fish as long as people keep buying them or the laws allows them to sell them. That is why we need to make people aware and stop buying them and have the laws changed to not allow such practice.

wow your tank is so overstocked its not even funny. you need to get rid of all of your fish except the parrots, or the yellow labs. are your fish litteraly stacked upon each other in your tank?JESS R said:
your parrots are skitish because they are getting beat up by the labs. labs can get aggressive, but parrots dont really.
i cannot stress enough that you need to get risd of some fish. you have fish that need totally different needs and temperments in that tank, and some grow huge while other stay small.
everybody is doing fine when they outgrow they will get bigger tank ya i know it's overstocked but i like the activity maybe selfish or not it's just chocked up to pesonal preference
I have 2 large BP's in my tank and they have been nothing but gental and even nurturing in behavior. mine are almost 7 inches long and their mouths are very small. :shark: i have small barbs in mine and no aggression ever. :dive2:
