Tank mates for Angel fish

I think the 35 hex is fine for one angel but definetly not two of them. You can add a school of tetras that you like to go with him. I like the rummynose tetras. They are the tightest schoolers and are nice tankmates for an angelfish. I also like the diamond tetras. They are some of the larger tetras and will not be bothered by the angel if he decides to get pushy.

i think the one angel, more hatchets, maybe 6 in all (as long as the tank is tightly covered), 3-4 cories, and a small school of tetras. i have had great luck with the orange-colored von rio flame tetras. by "great luck" i mean that those tetras and my angels live in the same tank, and they ignore each other's presence so well they should just be in completely different tanks. no nipping, no chasing, no problems.
