i heard that hillstreams are quick adapters and the paradise fish thinks it's a cory so i thought that settled that. In a couple years i will move 2 a 20 gallon tank and i also heard and im hoping this works, but my parent's have a pleco and it's supposed 2 grow 18 inches. it's been around six years and only 6 inches long. im guessing the size of the environment might effect the size of my CAE and the amount i feed it. i dont feed it that much any way. if it does get trumendelsy huge i will put it in my parent's 20 gal and if that dosent work i might have to sell it back. that might not happen 4 a few years though...
as 4 my hillstream loach all it does is hide near the filter with the kuhliloaches and eat algae wafers. it sticks 2 the front glass at night and looks like an alien. The 5 kuhli;loaches used to be in my parent's 20 gallon but they did'nt want that many bottom feeders in there. they play chase and hang around in the plant's. After all this i realized that i need 2 stop collecting bottom feeders and get some top dwellers for that the community starts 2 ballance out. There is no fighting or disease in the tank either.
