Tank Pic.. an ongoing work..

I really do not want to overplant the tank, as i have had many tanks before that just became overpowred with plants .. Also lots of structure ie, bog oak and rocks took away from the fish.. I decided with a simple approach this time.
As for the top back of the tank, the seven cories constantly shoal together side to side along the top back of the tank in the powerhead wash.. Its a great sight and would be masked by tall plants.
If i were starting a tank i would also add plants bit by bit, but i would add all the bog oak at the same time at the start of the cycling of the tank to get an accurate ph reading after three weeks of introducing the oak.. Before introducing plants and fish.. I would add plants after 3 weks and keep adding them over a the following two weeks, rest for a week , check all then start to add the fish..

I appreciate all the nicwe comments, This is a wonderful site full of interesting folks..Really glad i joined.. After many years of keeping fish i probably have learnt more in the last six months on here .

Hopefully some day i may be able to help some of the new comers out..

Thank u all again..

Regards,
Denis
