Well, maybe, a few pics of my 20L high-rise are ok.

The first pic is of the site of the big 2008 guppy massacre. The cories fled when I came with the camera, except one lone watch. The tank houses bronze cories, SA bumblebee catfish and a rubberlip pleco (which is actually visible in the pic).

The second pic is of the site of the big 2008 serpae massacre. The survivors don't seem to miss them. Those are glowlight tetras, one three-lined cory, two panda cories, a rubberlip pleco, two otos, some amano shrimp, two small mystery snails.

The third pic is of the bottom tank with some cherry barbs and espei rasboras.

Ulan - I really like your tanks. They are very well balanced.........mind telling me what the plants are? My 55 is my first planted tank and I'm still learning.

Thanks, but I don't think you need to learn anything from me, as your tanks look very nice :). I'm also a beginner with planted tanks ;).

The first tank contains just amazon swords. If you want to count it, there sits some tiny, remaining piece of Bacopa in the center. Everything else didn't make it, although the minimalist remainder doesn't look too bad.

The center tank is dominated by the crypts (C. wendtii). On the wood, there is some Christmas Moss that wasn't supposed to be there, and in the center you find an Anubias nana that has problems with algae. I guess it gets too much light. The ground cover consists of dwarf sag (Sagittaria subulata).

The bottom tank features only Christmas Moss on wood, here in the low-light form. Everything else in there, including the java fern, died.

So I have to admit that much of how these tanks look like is more due to chance than due to thorough planning :D. What plants did you use, and how are your experiences?

Fishy I hope you're getting a better stand for the tank in your first pic...kind of risky the way it is right now nice start to the tank though :D.
