I have just stripped both my 55gal tanks i got sick of the same look and decided to go with something new at the moment in 1 i have

6 convicts 4 males 2 females (am looking for more females as we speak)
2 Plecos am going to keep this tank as is fish wise for a while.

in the other i have
5 electric yellows

i am looking to turn this into a nice colorful setup so i am thinking of adding
5 electric blues as well

some fish i would like to add but need to find out if they will be ok together:
Astatilapia Latifasciata
Labidochromis Mpanga
Melanochromis Johanni
Melanochromis Maingano

Tropheus Moorii Bemba Red

anyone have any ideas what else i can add to this or if all these fish (SHOULD) get along?

I have a 55 gal sump running both 55 gal tanks so i can overstock a little.

i have done some research and i have found people seem to be keeping
Electric Yellow Cichlid
Sc Fryeri Electric Blue
Nimbochromis Venustus
Pseudotropheus Lombardoi
Melanochromis Maingano
Pseudotropheus Aceii Msuli Point

together and not seeing to much trouble so this is what i might go with...

if anyone has tried and had a win or loss with any of these together please let me know :) the more i know now the easier when i get them :)

thanks in advance

I would definitely add more Female Convicts to the 1st tank, as the males will start to bully the 2 females.

Also add in some ceramic flower pots to the tank, they're great for caves. Also add in some fake plants by the pots as to make them feel safer, plants will also help break any eyesight between the fish. Otherwise you're just asking for issues with 4 Male to 2 Females.

i have sand stone in there at the moment which is FULL of caves and holes to hide in i think because there is only 6 in the 55G tank they don't fight a lot because they don't see each other a lot but i will defiantly be trying to get more females as soon as i can
