Fish size- tank size. Meaningless. I.E. Oscar. In its natural habitat the Oscar is a waiting fish. Most other fish of their girth need a large tank. Not the Oscar. Keep reading your books and let the real aquarists set it straight.

You can never, ever have too big of a tank.

This is true, as far as it goes, but it doesn't really help people make a responsible decision about what to keep and where, particularly if they don't have unlimited space and money.
