I have a tank that is 36"x18"x24". All the calculators/converters I have used say this is 67g, is this correct?

I am kind of hoping since I was told I had a 55g tank, and now I have closer to a 70g, and I would really like to get a tang.

Yes, it's pretty much 67 gallons. However, at 36" long, I personally think it's too small for a tang. Sorry.

you could always get a juvi tang, BUT you need to either be prepared to
A. Get a bigger tank
B. Find someone who will take him in.

How long do tanga take to get 6" or larger?

I was looking at a Scopas. He is about 2" now. I get mixed answers, but they seem to only grow to about 8"-10", pending where I get my answer. I would feed him my home mix, as well as some seaweed on a clip. My home mix has mysis, plankton, scallops, shrimp, octopus, garlic, seaweed, and a few more things. I try to feed twice a day, once when I get hom from work 5pm, and once around 10pm. I change 10% (6g), every week.
