Has anyone ever seen or done this? I haven't yet but will one day. Its really easy to do. Just get some clear pvc and make it large enough diameter for your fish to swim through and put 90degree elbows facing down into the aquarium on the ends then another 90degree facing in the aquarium. Its kinda hard to get all the air out basically you just put it upside down on top of the tanks its going over and then fill it completely water then put something like two hard food plates over the ends and flip it over and put into the tank. The fish might take a while to actually swim through it but once they do they will like it. I think you can create water movement through the tube by haveing a canister filter and putting the input on one tank and the output on the other tank.

Also the water level of both tanks will be exactly the same.

I want to do this some day, I think it would be cool!

yeah i saw a video on youtube once lol
it looked interesting but i don't think that i would ever do it

oh wow. i was thinking like a simple 2 foot long bridge to the tank on the other end of the dresser lol
that is neat. that would be a very fun project, but i would constantly worry about it falling apart or leaking. no matter how well built it was lol

I had a crazy idea to get a glazier to cut some circular holes and then connect my tanks side to side with a clear plastic pipe but that idea sounds way easier

I just might try that

it would be really cool to have a couple o those going across the room above your head and also have like cat bridges going every where up there too. it would make for an interesting and never-boring coffee house :D

they make tanks like that. a local chinese restaurant had one. and yes, it DID have a hundred goldfish in it lol
i have also seen online ads for them on craigslist and stuff.
