No. I'm not getting upset. But the fact is that false information is being presented.
All you need is to seed the new tank with the nitrobacter and nitrosomas bacteria.
This is found in established filter media.
Not the gravel in non-undergravel filters.
Not the water.
Not in sufficient amounts on decorations.
It is much simpler to make a move if you understand where the bacteria is and what you need to move.
Especially if you are trying to leave an algae bloom behind.

I disagree. i think the bacteria is found in large quantities in the gravel and on the decorations. The tank is also being doulbed in size. This will increase the bioload.
A tank doubling in size does not increase bio-load. Only increasing the amount of living creatures in a tank increases bio-load.
