?Tanked?, a New TV Show for Aquarium Enthusiasts

Both should be somewhat interesting, but the Australian one has piqued my interest. Should be reasonably easy to find online once it airs.

While I don't care for the reality aspect of the show, I'm reserving judgement as to their knowledge and care of fish until watching the actual show. I would never let a bunch of short clips taken out of context, convince me to jump on the bandwagon and try and take down any show before it even begins. But my hopes aren't too high.

And wow... after reading those comments to the videos where one of the stars of the show responded (if that was actually even them), they really need to see about getting a publicist or a PR rep who can tell them what to do and what not to do in the public eye. I think those responses turned me off of the show more than the previews. That response is going to get passed around like it did to get here, much more than the original negative comments about the show ever would have. ...Another reason to suspect it might not have actually been them, but someone who wants to sabotage them.

Gotta love the interwebs.

Hmmm, that sucks they pulled the video for Fish Tales. I hope it is still going to air in AUS. I can't seem to find any new information on that show today when I google it. :(

I am watching "Tanked" right now and they just explained that fish should be in QT for 30 days! FINALLY some sound advice about fish!

Found a copy online today.. will watch it all when I get home. I watched a few minutes of it, still not impressed at all, actually just the few minutes of watching made me mad and my blood pressure rise and I had to turn it off so I don't think it is going to be a good show for me to watch, but I will sit through 1 episode to give it a fair chance.

They had a "sneak preview" showing last night at 11pm, that is how people watched it yesterday. ;) I was nice and put it up on newsgroups if any of you youngsters know how to use them. LOL. I am watching it now.. still have to pause every few minutes to calm down or I would be screaming at the monitor non stop. Something about putting metal stripper poles inside fish tanks and having "mermaids" dancing on them, with fish all around, that just rubs me the wrong way. It is bad enough just putting your hands in a tank, can't imagine what putting several girls in the tank with all their "fu fu" hair products they use will do to the water.

I had a bad feeling about this show when I saw the shark tank on the commercials. I will give the show a chance, but very apprehensive about it.
