Tankmates for baby panda cory

I have one little panda cory left, the other 4 died in the first 48 hours if not 12. The LFS tank water was off the chart in nitrate.

It's been really hard to find corys lately. Will he be okay by himself for a month or so?

He's really cute, he would fit on a penny. He chugs around the tank digging in the sand.

He should be ok. I would keep an eye on him though just to make sure. If he starts hiding often and not eating, then I would look for a couple of friends for him as soon as possible.

Thanks. Can I skip quarantine in this case? Find 3 pandas and just add them?
