Tankmates for exodons

Yea I have read most only get 4-5 inches. I am going to try the 2 cons and see how it works. I have a good amount of hiding places. If that does not work out I will probably just go with one more pictus and another bottom dweller and be done.

Maybe too small for any at all? If I got a single neon in my 55 gallon do you think that would be ok? I would make sure I had 3 canisters and 2 power filters running of course. Maybe I should not risk it though.
 
My point was that since they are schooling fish your tank might be too small for a school. But hey, you seem like the kind of guy thats just going to do whatever he wants anyways so have at it.
