tankmates for Sid

Sid is my brand new spotted climbing perch. he's about an inch and a quarter long right now and in a 10g (only because i thought he was an african leaf fish...stupid petsmart mislabeling)

anyway, i'm already saving up for a 55g for him, but i want to know what kind of fish i can put in with him that he won't eat. the tank will be heavily planted and i would LOVE a biotope tank. so if anyone has suggestions on fish that are native to african streams, as well as plants, let me know.

I still say congos and a syno catfish

i can't find congos here. i found ONE on ONE ocasion and it was tiny, skinny, and half dead at petco.

Got any LFS's? They'll order you as many as you need and you may even be able to get them as they come in if you don't trust the tank conditions of the store....Otherwise the place will often reserve a tank that says Not for Sale with them...

Rockabilly.. If you're on Roans site also do a search of birchir or look for posts by BeBlondie ( could probably do it here also as she is everywhere ), she lists compatible fish with the birchirs which includes the spotted perch (ctenopoma acutirostre). Those same fish will work with yours.
