i agree, that you can fool some fish into thinking its not in a tank if the tank is big enuf compared to the size of the fish, like some barbs in a 30 gallon, im sure they dont mind, but come on people, putting a few fish in a 5 gallon, thats like puttin a monkey in a closet for all its life, when it should be outside living in trees eating fruit. just my 2 dollars.. :OT:
 
I completely agree with you hans, anything under 30 gallons should be banned and not allowed to be sold. I fail to see how the companies actually make money off of them. The cost of the tank is barely the cost of the glass.
 
Not true. The last tank I bought (about 2 years ago) was a 10G. I put a school of pacu in it and one of those plecos, all from Wal-Mart. The guy told me these fish get big, but wouldn't in my tank. He was right! They lived happily for over a year, until they started getting sick and looking kinda deformed. :sad They started attacking each other. They all died mysteriously, but oh well. Now I have more room for some more Oscars! :dance
