Other than glasscages, is there another place online that sells standard tanks? I see plenty of odd shaped ones, but not your plain old rectangular tanks over 75 gallons.

Before I bought from glasscages, I searched around a lot and never found anyone. The best alternative I could come up with is that several LFS' around me are retailers of Oceanic and a few other manufacturers and could special order tanks that the LFS doesn't stock in the store. I will say that the prices where considerably higher than GC.

There are a number of places that sell acrylic aquariums online, though.

I should also point out the obvious reference to Craigslist. At least in my area, there are just about always a good number of tanks for sale.

try and find a mom and pop fish store in your area and ask them if they can order you the size of tank you want. Most chain type of stores cant or dont want to be bothered it seems. Shipping large glass tanks is expensive and glass can get broken easy and then you have to go thru the file a damage claim and wait forever for it to be settled then re order again if your doing it online.

thanks. I'm not going to buy online; just want to get general pricing. There's a place about an hour and a half from me that has some beautiful setups and they're inexpensive. I'm just trying to save myself a long drive just for the sake of pricechecking. I guess there's so much risk in shipping tanks to individuals that most places don't sell the more expensive setups to individuals; only to dealers.
