its to late to go get some and i need to do a water change and i cant make it to the store for a few days what can i do? its a 75 gal tank and i usually do a 20 gal change thanks..

Unless you have somewhere to store about 20 gallons of water and let it age, you can't really do anything, as far as I know....

Why can't you make it to the store? you live in massachusetts, not the savanah. Even so why is this water change mandatory? personally, I have given up wasting my money on water conditioner on my 20% water changes, the ammount of chlorine is nominal and may actually clear up some parasites. Just match the water temp. Water conditioner is only necissary if you have a SW reef tank or extremely sensitive exotic fish.

I disagree, you still need to remove chlorine and chloramine.

wrong again. chloramine never leaves the water.

is it becuase sw fish and reefs are more expensive and ergo more important that fw $1 fish? they are still leaving things that depends on u for care. If u have bad habits about fish and ur fish die cuase u dont use conditioner thats fine..myabe it HAS wokred out for by some miracle but shouldnt be giving advice based on ur wc habits on being the correct ones ;)

You could try aerating the water in a bucket using an airpump or leave water in the bucket overnight. Do you have chloramine in it?
