Tattooed fish made the local news.

if i lived in that area, after seeing that news item i would buy anything at that store, and i would definitely go in there and tell Mr. Steve exactly why. the painted fish aside - someone who sells dyed chicks has absolutely NO concern for the animals' welfare. the impulse-driven sale of chicks and bunnies around easter time is a major problem, as consumers (who are also to blame for not educating themselves) buy these small creatures for their children and somehow "forget" that the bunny is going to grow into a good-sized rabbit with a mean temper and sharp toenails, and *surprise!* baby chicks turn into chickens. More specifically, half of all baby chicks turn into roosters.
This guy obviously stoops to the lowest level to try and make a sale, and I would not support that kind of disregard with my money.
Somebody go to his store, find the smallest bowl they have for sale, and see how many goldfish or plecos you can buy for it until they tell you it's too many. . .

i watched the video, and i had to say something. there was some guy on there that they stopped and they asked him about it and he said, " i dont see anything wrong with that. they look healthy to me" or something along those lines.

yea, they look healthy now, but who says theyre going to even be alive in a week? what the news station shouldve done after that was bourght four undyed fish and then taken the four dyed fish they had and put them into seperate tanks. then they couldve seen the total difference with frequency of disease and longevity.

uhh, if you read my post - what i meant to say is i would NOT buy anything there. . .

Wow, thats pretty interesting. That could potentially bad for business for that store. I know alot of people who refuse to buy from stores who sell dyed fish. I am also against it.

i saw a cory with an orange strip down it's back,

Actually, the 'orange laser' and 'green laser' varieties of Corydoras are 100% natural.

Tortis is right, it does look natural.
