I just got this in my email inbox.. it appears very genuine, yet the link takes you to a site that is not. be wary!

Please submit the tax refund request and allow us 3-9 days in order to
process it. A refund can be delayed for a variety of reasons.

Amazing - I am constantly amazed at the number of ways that people try to make a dishonest living! It probably won't happen, but I wish the authorities would find these guys and throw away the book.

Exactly the same scam is getting very popular in the UK except it says it's from the Inland Revenue, even the amounts are similar. They give the same advice, forward the email to them and then delete it.
