I am just trying to figure out your setup. By kit I meant that you buy a single thermostat that runs multiple heaters, and these are all designed to work together. Your heaters, do they have thermostats in each of them or are they just heaters that heat when there is power going to them with no regard to temperature?
Its a single thermostat running multiple heaters,no thermostats in the heaters. When the thermostat senses a drop in water temperature ,power is fed to the heaters and when it gets to the desired temp it cuts the power to heaters.
