when the temps came up to 82, their colors got better and the 2 smaller ones were lip locking to see who'd be third place. they didnt even mess with the bigger one who was strutting around like a peacock with his colors better than ever. far as i can tell, they all have the black spots on the tail so all three are males. there are some at the lfs that dont have tail spots, but their heads look a little different in shape- not much different in color. maybe its just from being underfed.. i'm guessing the lfs does this to keep the waste and maintainence down.
